These are the flies I tied for my trip to Canada A. They are my first tube flies A. Thanks to Brian for showing me how to tie them. I think a little smaller version would be just fine. But these look cooler. They are very buoyant, probably should of had a sink tip or sink head on there. Or maybe I just need some lessons on how to cast these monsters ;-)
Trying to do this on my Ipad. Hopefully it works.
Thanks
Scott

  1. Good morning, Scott. These look great! I don't know what the cap A's mean before your first two period symbols but otherwise your iPad blogging looks first class!

Are the flies buoyant because they capture air as they're cast? I'm not sure you can avoid that without a roll cast. Spey cast perhaps?

  2. The A's are my attempt to be funny, because these flies where tied for Canada and they always say "A" at the end of there sentences :-)
